Wire buying across the Tulsa metro
Tulsa's metro economy is industrial at its core: refining and energy, aerospace maintenance, a working river port, and a manufacturing base that supplies all three. The wire that comes loose here is built for harder conditions than residential construction.
The metro covers Tulsa, Wagoner, Rogers and Creek counties along the Arkansas River, with the Creek Turnpike and US-169 shaping where new industrial and distribution space goes. Refinery and plant work on the west and north sides produces tray cable, instrumentation, shielded cable and medium voltage runs. Aerospace maintenance adds control and low voltage cable.
Around Broken Arrow, Owasso, Bixby and Sapulpa, newer commercial and residential development supplies the conventional categories: THHN, MC, SER, URD and service entrance cable, usually as clean partial reels returned to a shop. Sapulpa's process plants and Muskogee's port industries to the southeast add heavier cable again.
Wire that dominates here
- Tray cable and TC-ER
- Instrumentation and shielded cable
- 5 kV to 35 kV EPR and XLPE
- THHN, MC and SER
- URD and USE-2
- SOOW and welding cable
How loads move
Refinery and plant gates run on scheduled windows and safety briefings. Contractor shops and commercial sites are simpler. Large reels may need a crane rather than a forklift.
Regional coverage is about geography, not premises. We do not operate a staffed office or yard anywhere in this region; wire is quoted from photos and details, then collected or shipped.

Tulsa metro: seller questions
Is refinery cable handled differently?
Yes. Expect a gate process, a window and a conversation about exposure history. Cable that has been in a process area is assessed individually.
Do you buy from the southern suburbs?
Bixby, Jenks, Glenpool and the surrounding area are within our normal radius, along with the rest of the metro.
What is the most common Tulsa metro surplus?
Partial reels of THHN and MC from commercial work, tray and instrumentation cable from plant maintenance, and service cable from subdivision work.
