- Wire we buy
Every wire and cable category we buy
Eleven categories, one scope. If it is electrical wire or cable and it is surplus, it belongs on this list. If it is a transformer, a breaker or a piece of machinery, it does not.
Copper is the part of a surplus wire load that is easiest to identify and hardest to fake. If the reel says copper, the value is in the conductor, the insulation and the footage left on the reel.
Aluminium wire is lighter, cheaper to move and far more common in Oklahoma than sellers expect — especially in service entrance, underground distribution and long feeder runs where copper is not the practical choice.
Single-conductor building wire is the backbone of every electrical surplus load in the state. It is also the easiest category to quote precisely, because the jacket tells you almost everything.
Armoured and tray-rated cable is where commercial and industrial surplus overlaps: the same job can leave behind coils of MC for a retail fit-out and reels of TC-ER for a plant expansion.
Service entrance and underground feeder cable is the most common residential and light commercial surplus in Oklahoma, and it is almost always left in partial coils that nobody wants to store.
Grounding conductor is the quiet surplus category. It is bought by the reel, used in short runs, and left behind in partial coils that sit in a gang box for years.
Flexible cable lives a harder life than building wire. It is dragged, coiled, exposed to oil and sunlight, and replaced long before the conductor is finished — which is exactly why condition matters more than length.
Instrumentation cable carries signal, not just power, and that changes how it is specified — shielding, pairing, drain wires and jacket material all matter. It is also the category most often mispriced by general scrap buyers.
Low voltage cable is small, light and easy to store — which is why so much of it accumulates in boxes on a shelf until someone finally clears the shop.
Above 5 kV, cable stops being a commodity and becomes a specified assembly: conductor, semicon layers, insulation, shield and jacket all have to match. That is precisely why this category rewards a specialist buyer.
How wire is wound tells you almost as much as what the wire is. A factory-sealed reel, a half-used wooden reel and a hand-coiled bundle are three different conversations.
Formats we accept
Full reels, partial reels, wooden reels, spools, coils and boxed inventory. New surplus, unused stock, overstock and cancelled-project stock are all normal. Serviceable removals are assessed case by case.

Out of scope, always
Transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers, industrial machinery and general scrap. We buy wire and cable only.
