Fire alarm and low voltage cable buyers in Oklahoma
Low voltage cable is small, light and easy to store — which is why so much of it accumulates in boxes on a shelf until someone finally clears the shop.
Fire alarm cable is rated FPLR for riser and FPLP for plenum installations, typically 300 V, in twisted pair or multi-conductor constructions. Low voltage cable covers a wide field: communication, security, access control, audio, thermostat and control wiring.
We buy boxed and spooled stock, partial boxes and full reels. Mixed boxes are fine as long as the jacket print can be read.

What to send with the request

- Total box count, since this category is usually sold by the box.
Not sure of the type?
Send a photo of the jacket print anyway. Reading a wire label is the one thing we do all day, and it is faster than guessing.

Fire alarm and low voltage: seller questions
Do you buy partial boxes of fire alarm cable?
Yes. Partial boxes are common after a project close-out. Note roughly how much remains and whether the box is still intact.
What ratings matter?
FPLR and FPLP for fire alarm, and CL2 or CL3 for general low voltage. The rating decides where the cable can legally be installed, so it affects value.
Adjacent wire types we also buy
Instrumentation cable carries signal, not just power, and that changes how it is specified — shielding, pairing, drain wires and jacket material all matter. It is also the category most often mispriced by general scrap buyers.
Single-conductor building wire is the backbone of every electrical surplus load in the state. It is also the easiest category to quote precisely, because the jacket tells you almost everything.
How wire is wound tells you almost as much as what the wire is. A factory-sealed reel, a half-used wooden reel and a hand-coiled bundle are three different conversations.
